A free health camp for children with developmental disorders like Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and others, was conducted by CP Clinic Nepal in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Patan Durbar Square and Asha Kiran Kendra. The event took place on January 6th and 7th at Siddhartha School, Shreepur, Birgunj.
A dedicated medical team from the Cerebral Palsy Clinic and Care Center played a pivotal role in the success of the health camp. The team included a Neuro Pediatrician, Speech Therapist, Physiotherapist, and EEG Technician, all of whom contributed their expertise to ensure comprehensive care for the children.
Throughout the two-day health camp, a total of 58 cases related to Cerebral Palsy (CP), Autism, Down Syndrome, and Intellectual Disabilities were observed and addressed by the collaborative efforts of the medical team and volunteers.
The inclusion of a specialized medical team enhanced the quality of care provided at the health camp. The observed cases will continue to be addressed and managed, showcasing the commitment of the collaborating organizations and medical professionals to improving the well-being of children in the community.
